The Ziptape Company was created in the mid 1960's to meet the needs of the fast growig wire harness industry. Originally started to support the innovative wire jacketing systems invented by Walter A. Plummer (Founder of Zippertubing Co. in 1957), Ziptape soon became an independent subsidiary of Zippertubing. Ziptape products now set the standard for identification in the wire management and labeling industry. Product innovations include: The MityMark compact portable dispenser system, Rite & Wrap II, bench type dispenser systems, and top loading dispenser systems. Ziptape products are manufactured in Tempe, Arizona utilizing specially designed equipment and techniques specifically engineered to exceed industry standards. The Ziptape team continually strives to produce the highest quality, best value and easiest to use labeling systems available at any price.

As a part of our product offering we provide a complete line of dot matrix, laser and thermal transfer labels for wire, cable and component identification. A wide range of sizes and materials are available to satisfy most every identification need.

In addition, we stand prepared to manufacture custom labels produced to meet or exceed customer specifications and requirements.

Our product offering, in response to customer demand, has been expanded to include items such as cable ties, surface raceway, thermal transfer printers, and user friendly labeling software (manufactured to our specifications). The addition of these items to our line has allowed us to become a recognized force in the marketplace when it comes to specifying items needed to route, maintain, secure or identify wires or salient components.
